9600 Series Main Battery Switch On-Off Type Units are the same basic design and construction as 8500 series except they are offered as main disconnect switches. Alternator field disconnect feature protects alternator from damage if switch is inadvertently switched to off position while engine is running.
For use with systems under 50 volts. Capacity, 250 amps continuous, 360 amps intermittent.
